If you’re looking to change something, you start by looking at possibilities.
But maybe you’re looking for more than change. Maybe you’re looking for a transformation.
Where do you start?
Even great transformations need a beginning.
You can start with the limitations you face, because that’s where the opportunities are for you to grow bigger, better, to evolve.
But the mission—the exact what—is not always clear, and even a clear mission doesn’t always have a clear path.
More importantly, not everyone is ready for growth. Usually, it’s the idea of growth that’s appealing; it’s fun to dream and revel in what’s possible. The actual process of growth is often demanding and tumultuous, a channel of deaths, a channel of births.
But growth is what allows us to uncover and integrate more of our self.
Grow, and the world of possibilities gets bigger. Much bigger.
But you don’t need endless possibilities.
Suddenly in a bigger field, so to speak, you might be tempted by all the things the world presents or promises you. However, you only need possibilities that align with your self, with truth. This is not easy to do, and it requires a deep, discerning mind’s eye and radical self-honesty. With practice, you learn how to discard the possibilities that are not right for you. These are some of the deaths you will need to bear.
The births are not much easier. Taking steps in a new direction, even small ones, can fill you with trepidation, and you might become anxious for immediate success. Again, with practice, you can keep moving, growing, expanding.
When practice becomes discipline, discipline turns into confidence. Confidence creates change, and change becomes transformation.
It is only when your actions align with truth that you can access your true power.
And standing in your true power is always, always within the realm of your possibility.
